Captain Henry, Christine and Fun Fun Fun!


Below are some photos taken of the fun that Captain Henry, Christine and his mates have, in Western PA. on the upper Allegheny River. They dock at the Kittanning Marina just up river of Lock # 7. Next to the marina is their favorite restaurant / bar, the Allegheny Mariner, where all the boaters hang. Throughout the year the boaters travel up and down the river to other marinas and spend nights or weekends, enjoying friendship with one another.

Rosten Eddie Marina has a great new deck with a hot tub to enjoy, Schenley Marine has a great lobster fest in the fall, this was the site and building of the original Schenley Whiskey Distillery, Kittanning marina enjoy an old fashion clam bake, put on buy yours truly Captain Henry and his first mate Christine.
The clams are flown in fresh on Saturday morning and served Sunday afternoon. As fall comes the boats will load up and head down river to Pittsburgh and enjoy a day for football tied up right outside of Heinz Field. Home of the Pittsburgh Steelers 2005 super bowl champions.


On any given Sunday afternoon you will find boaters merging into the cove to enjoy the sun, food, laughter and the best friendship any boater can imagine. Capt. Henry says that they have had over 100 boats anchored at one time.
Captain Henry hopes to see boaters from far away come visit us spend a day, week or summer and take home a memories of a life time. From the Mississippi river, take the Ohio River, to the Allegheny River and Head North.
