The Wind-Up-Toy (our Kells 23 sailboat) is tied up at Broad Creek Marina. This is next door to McCotter's Marina for those that might know this establishment. Broad Creek is on the North side of the Pamlico River near Washington, North Carolina. It is some of the best sailing that can be found. The access that this area offers is its greatest appeal. We are 30 miles from the Ditch (ICW), sixty miles from Ocracoke and the Atlantic. We enjoy it here for its accessibility. We can go out for a day sail on Blount's Bay, take an overnight cruise to Bath, NC or venture forth into the great wide watery world.

I'm a boater on the Lake of the Ozarks Missouri. I travel 5 1/2 hours from Ankeny Iowa every other weekend, just to enjoy the lake. That's why we appropriately named our new boat "Five Hours Closer."

Hi everyone! I found your web sight while looking for info on a Lonestar boat that I'm going to restore. The boat is a cabin cruser and somewhere between 22' and 24' long, depending how it should be measured. I'm an 1 hour drive from Lake Erie and would love to get this boat back on the water! Any info on Lonestar boats would be appreciated.

Greeting from central Illinois on the beautiful Illinois River. Got a raft-out coming up for all Illinois Valley Power Squadron members and /or boaters that would like to join our great boating club. It is this sunday at 1:00 pm Peoria River front.....come join us for some fun and excitement. My 1993 Bayliner 2655 has taken my wife Susan and I up and down the Illinois River and with all the boating knowledge that I have learned from the Power Squadron courses that I have taken, they have been all very safe even when a disaster of some sorts has tried to ruin our cruise. Safe boating everyone!

I own a web site called http://wetmoments.com and was searching for other water related web sites, when I came across this site. I reside in Fair Haven, MI (Anchor Bay) and spend a great deal of time boating with my husband on Lake St. Clair, Lake Erie, Sarnia (Canada)and around the Port Huron area. Our boat is "Room Service" a 25' Sea Ray and we spend as much time as we have available enjoying the lake. We are both members of the Windmill Point Yacht Club.

If any of you fellow boaters are ever in the Fair Haven area & would like to stop by the club, please call & see if Gerry or Veronica are there. We'd love to buy you your 1st drink. All A.B.Y.A. members are welcome, even if we are not there. Non A.B.Y.A. members must come as our guests. The Clubhouse phone # is: (586) 716-8534

My vessel is a 25' Albin Deluxe Cruiser, a honey of a 1976 aft cabin trawler built in Sweden. PATIENCE, since an old slow boat takes plenty of it was purchased from a genuine Italian ships captain in Fla. I trailer to Ches Bay, Lake Norman, Belews Creek, Jordan Lake, Falls Lake and Morehead City, NC. I searched on "boating" and google directed me here! Am AdMin Officer in Greensboro Power Squadron of the USPS.

fbw:Lake Michigan. From South Haven to Harbor Springs! I love West Michigan and I'd be hard pressed to figure out a reason to leave it in the Summertime. I have a little 18 1/2 foot Rinker that's paid for this year and of all the boats I've had it has to be the best I have owned. I found your club through Boating Magazine.
