Bob Do all my boating out of Fire Island Inlet which is part of long Island New York. Most of my fishing is done in the Inlet witrh the occasional offshore run for the fun stuff (shark & Tuna). I have a 30ft. Stamas which is great for fishing but the Admial would like a little more confort features for the crusing that we do. I found the web site in one of my boating magazines that I subscribe to. Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at 10:06:41 |

Larissa I'm making payments on a little bitty 12 footer with two sails... never sailed before, but decided it's somehting I might like to learn about. I've taught myself everything else I've ever done, so I'm confident I can learn to sail too. I live within walking distance of Lake Ontario (one of the Great Lakes) and have always been envious of all the other people out there enjoying the water. Saturday, February 16, 2002 at 10:28:25 |

Nyla We live in Delaware but we keep our Silverton convertible in Ft Myers, Florida and we boat down there year around. We've done Nantucket, Newport, RI & all of Long Island Sound, all the way to the Florida Keys and everything in between. We will close the Great Loop (or Great Circle) with a trip up the Hudson, thru the Great Lakes and down the Mississippi & Tenn Tom in the next few years. Our boat is a 1989 34C that we bought new. It is diesel powered and has been done over inside and out and has things that are normally only found on larger or more expensive boats and that along with being economical are what makes it a great cruising boat. At 18 mph it only burns 9 to 10 gallons an hour. When we are laying back with the trawlers, we burn about 2 to 3 gallons an hour like they do. I found the club thru the Google Search engine.
